she was married to oleg cassini the dress designer.her first child was blind and death because gene caught german measles while at the uso , she supported her whole family with her earnings. the poor dear went crazy in the end, couldn't recall her lines. she was a wonderful beautiful person inside and out. hollywood really discovered her. she went on a tour of the studios as a teenager, and her beauty , they offered her a screentest on the spot! get the dvd its got two commentaries and more.

You're right.She wasn't a sex symbol like Rita Hayworth or Marilyn Monroe but unless mens have gone blind she certainly could drawn them to her wether it was on or off screen.

I think Gene Tierney was very sexy.One of my friends saw Laura and he though she was hot.
